There’s someone I need you to meet – this wonder woman, Karyn! If you are a student of our online photography courses Beginner Bootcamp or Perfecting Portraits, you would no doubt recognise Karyn and her beautiful boys!
Karyn was such an active and helpful participant in Bootcamp that I asked her to become our community manager – I don’t know how she manages to find the time, but she makes my life so much easier and I am so grateful to have found her.
One of the best things about creating these online courses has been being able to connect with women all over the world, with different seasons and different cultures.
When the Perfecting Portraits girls started talking about where the best spots to photograph the fall colours and the pumpkin patches and the apple orchards were, I just KNEW I had to make the trip over to New Hampshire to photograph them myself.
So in October I jumped on a plane – landed at 9pm at night, got myself to Andover by lunchtime and that afternoon I met this crazy crew finally in person!
Karyn chose the best location, with autumn colours, a picturesque barn, farm animals, a pond with ducks and lots of winding walkways. The weather was a teeeeny bit colder than I had anticipated (I had totally packed a wardrobe that was more New York Autumn Chic than zero degree temps!) so Karyn and her lovely husband gave me mittens and hand warmers for the workshop the next day – you can check out the workshop pics here if you haven’t seen those ones :)
Aren’t these photos just the best. And I don’t know how she found the time, but Karyn crocheted her scarf to coordinate with everyone’s clothing!
Do you know these guys or just love these photos? please do like and share this post!
Also if you want to learn all about how to photograph kids in any location, Perfecting Portraits starts in April 2016 – jump on the list to make sure you get notified of the 24 hour VIP pre-public sale in March.
