Sometimes as the photographer in the family, you might find yourself always “working”… When it comes to documenting your own family memories, it’s important but it is also important for you to put the camera down and enjoy being present in the day and not behind the camera all the time. A family photobooth is the answer.

So in this week’s video, I am sharing my workaround for How To Exist in Your Family Photos and Still Enjoy Your Christmas :)
Inside the video, I tell you the four reasons why you should create a family photobooth at your next family event and exactly how I go about doing it each year….
The most important reason is that we never know what life might throw up at us… Only a few months after our first year of the family photobooth, we lost my beautiful aunty Trish very suddenly and unexpectedly. I am so grateful to have made everyone participate in the family photobooth and it has now become a family tradition, come rain, hail or shine!
Are you documenting your family and special events in a quality way?
I apply all of the lessons that I teach about photography in Beginner Bootcamp to my family photobooths – fill the frame, declutter the background, find the magical light!
Don’t have time to watch the video? you can grab all my tips discussed in the video (and more!) in this free checklist!
So if you want my checklist for creating your own family photobooth, you can download that PDF here.

Love this Clare. With two days to Christmas, I’m going to try and get it organised for our family to do this year.
